Manhattan Mini Storage Signs

The Iconic Billboard Campaigns of 2010-2019

Keep Everything (2010)

Letting go isn’t always the best option, especially when you live in a city that makes accumulating stuff part of the experience. That's why we embrace the everyday chaos of living in New York and the reality of owning more than your apartment can reasonably handle.

Occupy Us (2011)

In 2011, New Yorkers had a lot to say... and so did we. Whether addressing politics, city pride, or the absurdity of modern life, this campaign wasn’t just timely, it was unapologetically us.

Signs of a New Yorker (2012)

New Yorkers are one-of-a-kind—and this campaign lets them speak for themselves. We handed the mic (or in this case, the signs) to the people who make this city what it is: opinionated, creative, busy, and unapologetically direct.

Bubble Wrap (2013)

In a city that never holds back, we didn’t either. In 2013 it was all about bold opinions, loud truths, and advocating for the overworked, overwhelmed, and out-of-space.

Life in the 2010s (2014)

The 2010s were a weird time. It’s when digital life exploded, minimalism became a lifestyle, and we all started side-eyeing “the cloud.” Check out our 2014 campaign that leaned into those cultural shifts and spoke to a very modern kind of anxiety.

Said No One Ever (2014)

Let’s face it, no one actually enjoys folding gowns into cardboard boxes or commuting from the UWS to Queens to grab their winter coat. So we offered a solution: a storage unit that makes it life in the city a little less ridiculous.

My Storage Room (2015)

From a drag queen with a closet full of wigs and gowns to new parents clinging to their sanity, each billboard featured a familiar NYC character and their very real reason for needing extra space.

Space (2016)

In a year when space was suddenly political, galactic, and personal all at once, we launched a campaign that gave it the signature Manhattan Mini Storage twist.

Storage Guru (2018)

With infinite wisdom (and maybe a hint of sarcasm), the Storage Guru graced our billboards to help city dwellers find clarity, balance, and room to stretch out... mentally and physically.
